Setup
Required before sending ("stupid proofing")
Owners and admins choose what an estimate needs before it can be sent. Nothing is required until you turn it on, so a company that doesn't want it isn't slowed down.
Turn it on
Settings → Company Profile → Required Before Sending (app) or Settings → Company (office web page). Check what you want:
- How to get in (entry notes, keys or codes)
- Parking / truck notes
- An on-site contact with a phone number
- A decision maker
- A billing contact with an email
- The estimate's contact has an email
- Measurements on every line
- A service chosen on every line
- A scan or floor plan
- At least one photo
- Hose route, safety & caution notes
- Permission to scan on file
- Payment info on file
What estimators see
The estimate shows a Required Before Sending list of anything missing and how to fix it. Opening the proposal or Send to Customer is blocked until it's all there.
Owners and admins can still Send Anyway when they need to.
