Automatic follow-ups on proposals
Most proposals that go quiet just got buried in an inbox. Automatic follow-ups send a short, polite reminder so you don't have to remember to.
Turn it on (owners and admins)
On the office web page, Settings → Company Profile & Proposals → Automatic Follow-Ups:
- Check Email a friendly reminder when a proposal hasn't been answered.
- Days after sending — up to four, with commas between (for example 3, 10).
- Message — leave it blank for the standard one, or write your own. These fill in: [first name], [sent date], [title], [total] and [company]. A Review & accept button is added below your message.
- Save.
It's off until you turn it on.
How it works
- Reminders go out around 9 am (Mountain time) to whoever the proposal was sent to, from your company name. Replies go to the estimator who sent it.
- They stop on their own as soon as the customer accepts or declines, or when the proposal expires.
- Each reminder is sent once; nothing is sent twice for the same day.
Stop them on one estimate
Open the estimate on the office web page. While it's waiting for an answer, it shows which follow-ups have gone out, with a button to stop them for that estimate (and to turn them back on).
