Team
Team Map — who's close today
The Team Map shows everyone working today, nearest to you first. Use it to find who's close for an equipment swap or a hand on a job. Leads and managers can use it to plan a pop-in.
Where to find it:
- iPhone: Schedule → Team Map (top right).
- Office web page: Schedule → Team Map, or Map → Team Today. This works on a phone's browser too.
Where each person shows up
- Live (green): the person turned on Share My Location within the last 30 minutes.
- From the schedule (grey): where today's schedule puts them. That's the job they're on (from the job sheet: started, paused or an issue), else the one they're on the way to, else the one scheduled now, else their next job, else their last job.
- You: a black dot.
Each person shows their distance, what they're doing, the job and address, and Directions.
Sharing your location
Turn on Share My Location to show your team exactly where you are. It's always your choice:
- It only shares while the Team Map is open (on the iPhone: while that screen is open). It updates at most once a minute.
- Turn it off, and your spot is removed right away.
- After 30 minutes without an update, your live spot drops off and the schedule places you again.
Nobody is tracked in the background. Location sharing never runs with the app closed.
